 Load Calculation 👷

  • Slab = Depth(m) x 25 (kN/cum) 
For Ex consider Depth = 125mm 

∴ Slab = .125 x 25 = 3.15 km/sqm

  • Floor finish Load = thickness (m) x 20 (kN/cum)
For Ex T = 50 mm 

 ∴ FFL = 0.5 x 20 = 1kn/sqm

  • Sunk slab Load = Depth (m) x 8 kN/cum
For Ex D = 250mm

 ∴ .SSL = 0.250 x 8 = 2 KN/sqm

  • Partition wall = Thick x Height x 20
For Ex T = 0.115m, H = 3.4m

 ∴ PW = 0.115 x 3.4 x 20 = 7.82 KN/m

  ➤ Note = If Partition Wall on slab consider 1 KN/sqm on the entire slab .

  • Main wall = Thickness (m) x Height (m) x 20 (KN/cum)
For EX   T = .225m   H = 3.4m

∴ MW = .225 x 3.4 x 20 = 15.3KN/m

  • Parapet Wall = Thickness (m) x Height (m) x 20 (KN/cum)
For Ex   T= .225m  H=1.2m
 ∴ PW =0.225 x 1.2 x 20 = 5.4KN/m

➤  Live Load consist 
- As per IS875 part 2

  • All rooms and kitchen = 2 KN/sqm.
  • Toilets And Bathroom = 2 KN/sqm
  • Corridors, Passages, staircase = 3KN/sqm
  • Balconies = 3 KN/sqm
  • Combination Load
               RCC = 1.5 and  steel = 1.15 load factor
